ABOUT BEOGRADJANKA... Beograđanka, officially Belgrade Palace  is a

modern high-rise building in the Belgrade downtown area. It is 101m tall. It is situated on the crossroads of Kralja

Milana, Resavska and Masarikova Streets. Belgrade Palace has a total

of 29 floors, of which 2 underground, and its gross area is 40 000 square meters.

It held the largest department store in Belgrade on an area of about 17 000 square meters, which covered 8 levels.

HISTORYIt was built by architect Branko Pesić from 1969 to 1974, and on

April 22, it celebrates its fortieth birthday. It was built on the Belgrade

spine-ridge in the center of Belgrade urban work, on the move Kalemegdan-

HISTORYThe business part of the Palace was arranged on 15 floors with

offices of prominent Belgrade-based companies and institutions that have

beenplaced in the tower of the Palace. Palate catering section

consisted of a restaurant on the sixth floor and a lookout from which visitors

could view all of Belgrade, but also the wider metropolitan area of the city.
