Admission Requirements

• English 4U

• Three additional 4U courses, one of which may be from the fine arts

• A distinct fifth course at the 4U or 4M level

• Admission is guaranteed at 65% for most programs.

• Addictions Counselling, Art, Digital Audio Arts, Environmental Science, New Media, Nursing, and Pre-Engineering may require a higher average and specific courses for admission.

High School Application

• Submit self-reported grades for all Grade 12 courses that will be completed by the end of June

• Pay $75 application fee

• Send final, official transcripts

• December 15: Board of Governors’ Award

• March 1: Early Admission, Nursing, Pre-Engineering

• May 1: Environmental Science, Faculty of Education (excluding Pre-Education)

• June 1: General Admission (Fall)

• October 15: General Admission (Spring)

Scholarships and Awards

Grade 11 Merit Award ($800)

• Submit an online awards application before June 30 of your Grade 11 year

Board of Governors’ Admission Scholarship and Relocation Award (up to $2,000)

• Send in a completed UofL application for admission before December 15

Leadership Awards ($1,000-$5,000)

• Submit an online awards application before March 15

• Some awards require an essay or reference letter

• Ontario high school applicants require English 4U and four additional Grade 12 subjects

• Most faculties require specific subjects for admission

• Admission is competitive

• Applicants must self-report their grades online
