Columbus Discovered Many Animals and Plants in America.

Columbus Travelled to America in the year 1492. When he reached America, He Discovered many Plants and Animals Never seen in Europe. In his 4 Trips, He Discover the Major Part of America. In this Long Travel he discovered the following Animals and Plants.

Animals:

The Alligator:

The Alligator its a crocodilian of the family Alligatoridae. They live in the South part of USA and North of Mexico.Imagine what did Columbus said when he saw this enormous and dangerous animal!!

The Parrot:

A very exotic animal from whole America. They live mostly in tropic areas just like the Amazonas.

The Llama:An animal similar to the Donkeys or horses from South America.

The Amazon River Pink Dolphin:

A pink dolphin!!! Speachless

The Piranha:

Be caerful with this dangerous fish or you will get hurt!!

Columbus Also discovered Many Exotic Plants:

The Tobacco:

Potato:

Tomato:

The tomato is native to South America. Genetic evidence shows that the progenitors of tomatoes were herbaceous green plants with small green fruit with a center of diversity in the highlands of Peru.
