FABRIC FILTER

Fabric filter is a cylindrical filter bag of fabric.

Several identical bags can be placed in a bag house.

Removal efficiency = 99.9%

Particle size range = 0.01 to 100(micro meter).

Pulse jet fabric filter (PJFF)

Common diameter of bags 8-12inches

Length of bags'= 22,30 or 35 feet

Reverse gas fans and ducts recycle part of the clean flue gas from the exit manifold back through the compartment during the cleaning cycle.

How it work

Pulse jet fabric filter (PJFF)

Common diameter of bags 5-6inches.

Pressure of compressed air = 100psi.

Pulse duration = 0.1sec.

Cleaning = one row of bag at a time then other bag.

Bag shaker house

Shaking method can be used to clean the bags with mechanical shaking.

Duration of shaking = (30sec to a few minutes)Common diameter of bags = 5,8,12 (inches)
