Most residents are not poor financially, they have adequate resources and jobs to sustain them and their families.

5 DISCUSSION

5 DISCUSSION

3 antenas/ house Housing issues were raised by the stakeholders during the MSD. The three main issues were coded 3K - Kebersihan, Kesihatan, Kesela-matan. (Hygiene, Health, Safety).

Local leaders seem to be effec-tive mediators between the community and authorities.

Leaders do not decide on their own, instead pass up predica-ments of the people to the gov-ernment (democratic)

The dirty area around their houses indicates lack of knowledge and concerns for the environment.

5 DISCUSSION

5 DISCUSSION

Residents seemed receptive to the idea of relocation as planned by the authorities.

They did raise the concern of accessibility to the sea.
