Radial and Free Form Designs Process Summary:Use your 3 or more wedge-shaped related images to construct 2 designs: 1. Radial

Radial DesignTransfer pie pieces into a circle or ½ circle.

“Connect” the separate pieces so that the overall design is constructed into 1 continuous positive space.

with sharpie marker as shown:

2nd Design: Free-Form Use whole or partial pie pieces to create a “free-form” design which moves across the page organically.

Painting Choose ONE color schemes:

MONOCHROMATIC—1 color (plus black and white).

COMPLIMENTARY—2 colors straight across from one another on the color wheel (plus black and white).

ANALOGOUS—3 colors adjacent on the color wheel (plus black and white).
