Our Story

October 2013The VIS IB Course (International Baccalaureate)met Miss Chiara Cattai from an NGO which is involved in voluntary activities to support the human development and international cooperation. Chiara proposed us to collaborate with her as Entrepreneurs of a Sustainable Activity

of Reuse by collecting clothes, hand accessories and trinkets.

What we did and how we did it…

November 2013

We decided to collect accessories and trinkets to be sell during anevent organized in December by Vintage Fashion Show

We started to be entrepreneurs !

We spread the information in the school ,visiting the other classes, making posters to advertise our collection of vintage costume jewellery.We also informed our families ,relatives and

friends.

By the end of November we collected a lot of trinkets. We gave a price( from €1 to € 8 )we registered the list of objects and their price : € 380 in total! Ready for the

The Fashion Show

The most beautiful, funny clothes, bijoux and accessories were put up

for the Fashion Show in a big Turin ‘s discoteque. The ones left were sold in a corner called “Market “ .Some girls of the school  played the role of top models wearing wedding dresses , necklacesbracelets, brooches, other students worked as shop assistants to sell clothes and accessories.

Young Entrepreneurs of the

Vintage Company Vittoria International School,

Torino, Italy, who took part to the 6th edition of “ CISV Vestiamo” a fashion show and an auction sale of second hand clothes, accessories and trinkets. Our Company has seen Vintage not only as a creative and up to date fashion but as a good practice to recycle and reuse itemsThe proceeds , € 260 have been donated to CISV to support their childhood project in Senegal.

We decided the final price in order to give our income to an Association which helps ill children

We wrapped all the items and now they’ re ready to

be sold
