What is CAPP?

• CAPP is an online degree evaluation system, which shows your progress toward graduation

• Because CAPP evaluation is updated instantly, you can check your final grades, current registrations and any outstanding program requirements

• CAPP evaluation is available to you and your advisor through the NLU Portal

Track the progress toward your graduation at any time by accessing your degree evaluation online

• Review your program requirements and see which requirements were already completed

• See what courses and other requirements you still need to complete

• Check your In-Progress Courses, Courses Not Used and more

Go to www.nl.edu and select NLU Portal to access CAPP

Enter User Name, Password and Login

Choose Student Services to access your academic information

Select Degree Evaluation; it opens in the new window

Select the current Term from the drop box and Submit your request

Verify your Program information and Generate New Evaluation

Check the Program button, select the current Term and Generate Request

Your evaluation shows the program and the catalog term you are required to fulfill

You can also check overall requirements like Program GPA, Minimum Hours, or Final Residency for your degree

View the required courses on the left and see how you fulfilled them on the right

Review the outstanding course requirements you still need to complete

Click on the missing course requirement to see more detailed information

Select Return to Previous to go back to your degree plan

In addition, you can review other important information such as In-Progress Courses or Program Restrictions or
