Dear European National Teams delegations,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the European Ultimate Federation to the European Ultimate Championship 2015 in Copenhagen! With 68 teams from 24 nations for a total of 1600 athletes, this is the largest EUC ever run. This is a con-firmation that Copenhagen was the perfect choice for it, as it offers great infrastructure, with all fields on one site, ease of access by land and air, and of course those many wonderful sights that make Copen-hagen one of the most beautiful cities of the world!
We are also very proud to say this event is sanctioned by the WFDF. This does not just drastically enhance the visibility of the event, but it also allowed us to leverage the WFDF best practices and stan-dards for the benefit of all the people present.
This is the result of a project that started more than two years ago, and which has been characterized by great enthusiasm and professionalism from all actors. The Danish TOC, EUF and WFDF invested many months of work to prepare this wonderful stage for you.
Regardless of all preparations and planning done, the key factor for the success of this event is YOU. You are the actors on this stage. You will be the focus for all the spectators on site and through the internet. You are the real promoters of our sport with your spirit, with your skills, with your teamwork. Your discipline and respect, on and off the pitch, will be fundamental to run everything smoothly.
Let the EUC in Copenhagen become a benchmark for the Spirit of the Game and for the quality of the performance – let it be the best promotion for our beloved sport!
The stage is now yours!
Grazie e ciao
Andrea “Oddi” Furlan - EUF President -

Welcome, athletes from all over Europe
Are you thrilled about EUC? I think we all are!
We are living in a thrilling age for Ultimate: numbers are growing at all levels, everyday more people know about Ultimate, and the level of the game is improving year after year.
Ultimate growth is something we have to be proud of. Together we all are delivering a message to the world around us: self officiation, respect, joy and highly competitive sport can coexist.
That is Spirit of the game.
SOTG is respect among competitive individuals, SOTG is being positive and fair-minded, SOTG is good knowledge of the rules, SOTG is the ability to communicate even in intense games, SOTG is being aware of the space around us, SOTG is harmony between competition and respect.
I feel blessed to witness these big events, where players showcase the best Ultimate can express. SOTG is our flag, let us be proud of that.
Enjoy the tournament!
Dario LucisanoSpirit Director, EUF

To all participants in the 2015 European Ultimate Championships:
On behalf of the World Flying Disc Federation, I would like to welcome all athletes, coaches, staff, sup-porters, and spectators to the city of Copenhagen, Denmark, for the 2015 European Ultimate Cham-pionships (EUC). We will see more than 1,500 athletes from 24 countries participate in this premier continental championship.
This is the first time that WFDF has officially sanctioned an EUF Championship event, marking another milestone on our path to a truly global and homogenous Flying Disc family. We are excited to partner with the European Ultimate Federation (EUF) as organizer of the EUC. A great effort was made by EUF and its leadership under EUF President Andrea “Oddi” Furlan and the TOC in Copenhagen with Tournament Director Matthias Zaccarin as well as the Dansk Frisbee Sport Union (DFSU) and its Sports Administrator Niels Pagel Jensen to make EUC an unforgettable event.
While the elite European Ultimate athletes gather in Copenhagen, the Session of the International Olym-pic Committee (IOC) will decide on WFDF’s permanent recognition as an IOC recognized International Federation in Kuala Lumpur. We are confident that we have done our utmost to further develop as an IF and member of the Olympic family in the two very years since WFDF was provisionally recognized by the IOC Executive Board in May 2013. In particular our focus on the establishment and development on a continental level demonstrates such success.
I wish all teams competitive success and hope that you have an enjoyable tournament, with great memo-ries that will last for years to come!
Very truly yours,
Robert “Nob” Rauch
President

At this years EUC we have strived to create the best possible environment for playing our sport. This includes plenty of possibilities for shade, an abundance of water posts, excellent grass quality, high quality nutritious food and much more. On the following pages you can read more about why this years venue is so highly anticipated.
2.2 Venue
Venue address Valby Idrætspark Julius Andersens Vej 1 2450 Copenhagen SV
If you ask for directions or go by taxi, mention you are going to Valby Hallen (the name of the area), every taxi driver will know where this is.If you are going by public transport, you can take the S-train to Ny Ellebjerg station, it is a 2 min walk from the fields.
2.3 Warm up areas
The fields are for playing and the warm up area is for warming up. Please respect this in order to preserve the grass quality of the fields. Fields may be entered 15 minutes before game start. The des-ignated warm up areas are mainly on artificial turf but grass outside of the fields may be used as well.

3.3 Internet Access
Internet will be available for free at Scandic and Danhostel. We do hope to have free internet with a proper connection at camping and on some parts of the venue too. Mankind can put a man on the moon but apparently not provide internet to a grass field in a quality and at a price level that can serve a large scale ultimate tournament. We preserve the right to first and foremost use the bandwidth for core staff functions and the livestream. The WIFI-Network is called: EUC2015 and no password is required. The connection is not meant for heavy downloads..

The sports complex is a public area and not gated nor locked at night. Opening hours of the EUC venue: Monday 14:00-21:00 Tuesday 07:00-20:00 Wednesday & Thursday 07:00-21:00 Friday 07:00-20:00 Saturday 07:00-21:00 Sunday 07:00-18:00
Please respect the opening hours. Our hardwork-ing volunteers need time to prepare everything in the morning and time to relax at night. Thank you for your cooperation.
3.6 Garbage
EUC2015 is recycling as much as possible, and we can only do this if the players help us. Please respect the signs and discard your waste in the appropriate containers. If you are going to leave some of the contents of your player’s package in Copenhagen, you can bring them to the Recycle and Reuse Station in the main tent for someone else.
3.7 Volunteers
The biggest and hopefully best European Ultimate Championships ever would not be possible without the huge contribution of the volunteers. Make sure to thank the hardworking volunteers in yellow and core staff members in green. You can ease their job by reading this booklet, follow their instructions and show SOTG outside the field too: Stay positive and friendly and make sure to use the recycling system. See a detailed list of who is who of the core staff members elsewhere in this booklet.

get a high five from the queen2. Tak: Thank You. Remember to say it to all the friendly volunteers. 3. Hygge: Cozy but does not really translate. It is the state of mind you will hopefully be in when relax-
ing with your teammates enjoying a nice meal after a great game.
