“Behold, I am doing a new thing,” says the Lord through Isaiah (43:19, ESV). “Now it springs forth.” We worship the God of continual newness and renewal, who even brings new life out of death. Welcome!
If you are a first time guest, we would like to get more acquainted and minister to you more effectively. Please take a “Guest Information” card from the chair back pocket, complete both sides and place in the offering plate. At the conclusion of the service please stop by the Welcome Center to receive a Thank You gift for visiting with us. It is our prayer that you will be blessed by today’s worship.

UBC Totes of Hope is an excellent opportunity for you to provide a Christmas meal for a family in need. It is also a great chance for your children to be actively involved in a UBC ministry event that teaches about the importance of being generous to others. There are two ways you can participate in this Outreach event. You can fill a tote with the items on the enclosed shopping list and/or you can purchase one or more $15 Kroger gift cards that will provide the families with a ham or turkey for their holiday dinner.
Our goal is to collect 50 filled totes. Empty totes will be available in the narthex Nov. 8th. In each tote, you will find a shopping list that will cost approximately $50.00 to fill. If you are providing a gift card, please return these directly to the labeled card box available in the narthex.
Totes and gift cards must be returned to UBC on Sunday, December 6th.
Keep informed of Fall and Holiday church activities & events by any number of ways: Website Newsletter Bulletin & Youth Bulletins Facebook Streaming in narthex Announcements on screen *Email reminders

God’s Plan for Your Life Are you certain you have eternal life and will go to Heaven when you die? What would you say if you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into My Heaven?” God’s Purpose: God loves us and has a purpose for our lives. The Bible says it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16) Our Need: As we search for meaning in life, we discover that our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God purpose for our lives. We are all sinners by nature and by choice. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) God’s Provision: God is holy and just and must punish sin. Yet He loves us and provides forgiveness for our sin. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6) Our Response: The only way Jesus can affect our lives is for us to receive Him. We must surrender to Jesus as Lord. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10) My Commitment: “Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and died to forgive me of my sins. I know I have sinned. I ask You to forgive me. I turn from my sins, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. I want to live for You the rest of my life. Amen.”
