Shane GouldShaneGould,M.B.Eiswell-knownthroughoutAustraliaandwhereverpeopletakeaninterestinswimming.Shehasthreegold,asilverandabronzefromtheMunichOlympics1972,andheldallfreestyleworldrecords,aswellasthe200Individualmedley.Nowsheisasuccessfulbusinesswoman,author,keynotespeakerandswimmingcommentator.

SpeakersTeri McKeeverMcKeeverisknownasacoachwhoturnspreviouslyunnoticedswim-mersintomajortalents,andtalented-but-burned-outswimmersintoOlympiansandworldchampions.OneoftheseswimmersisNatalieCoughlin,an11-timeOlympicmedalist.In2004thefirstwomancoachonaUSAteamatamajorinternationalmeetandforforLondon2012shewillbethefirstfemaleUSOlympicHeadcoach.

William "Bill" Boomer Billwastheheadcoachofthemen'sswimteamattheUniversityofRochesterfrom1962to1990.Beginningintheearly1990s,BoomerwasatechnicalconsultanttofivetimeOlympiccoachRichardQuickatStanfordUniversityswimteamandhasworkedone-on-onewithmanyworld-classswimmerstheircoaches.Boomerwasatechnicaladvisortothe1996,2000,and2004USAOlympicteams.

Milton Nelms Miltonisaleadingexpertandinnovatorincuttingedgeswimmingtechniqueintheworldtoday.Hedesignsprogrammingforathletedevelopmentandtheteachingofswimtechnique.Milt’sworkisrecog-nizedasoneofthetop25mostsignificantcontributionstoUSASwim-mingforthelastquarterofthecentury.

Chris Martin Chrishavebeeninvolvedininternationalswimmingforover20years.HewasonUSInternationalteams,headcoachofScotland,headde-velopmentcoachforBritishSwimmingandnowChrisisworkingwiththeCityofShanghaicoachinganddevelopingagroupofpromisingjuniorsattheirtrainingacademy.

Alex NikitinAlexNikitinhasbeencoachingswimmingattheMultnomahAthleticClubinPortland,Oregonsince1994.NikitinisafounderofParametrixResearch.Theintriguingpossibilityofbringingthescienceandtheartofcoachingclosertogetherhasbecomehislifelonginterest.Thepursuitofthatloftygoal,aswellasmakingsportscienceaccessibletothegrassrootscoaches.

Brad Burnham BradBurnhamarrivedatBowdoinin2000afterbeinginvolvedinallaspectsoftheUCLAswimmingprogramforsixyears.WhileatUCLABurnhamcoachedhisteamto16thorbetterattheNCAAchampion-shipseachyear-andplayedaroleinover40DivisionIAll-Americanperformances.HeparlayedhisexperiencesatthehighestlevelintoundeniablesuccessatBowdoin.

Kipp DyeKippDyeisaBostonareaPhysicalTherapistandformerelitelevelswimmerattheUniversityofCaliforniaatBerkeley.Kippspecializesinrehabilitationoftheshoulderforathletesinthrowingsportsandforcompetitiveswimmers.
