The Global Leadership Team

• GLT Constitutional Area Leader: Identify needs, strategize on leadership actions for constitutional area

• GLT Area Leader: Motivate, monitor, share best practices across several MDs

• GLT Multiple District: Organize, track, coordinate training at MD level

• GLT District: Identify and develop capable leaders in the district, zones and clubs

• Promoting active involvement of trained Lions

• Collaborating on leadership development goals and plans

• Coordinating/overseeing training efforts at the club, zone, district levels

• Encouraging active coaching via the Lions Mentoring Program

Liaison Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about programs/activities/ leadership initiatives

• Ensure effective communication

• Be familiar with clubs/zones to determine needs

• Collaborate on the creation/implementation of district leadership development plans

• Recognize resources to assist in identifying and developing leaders

Region/Zone Chairpersons

• Identifies potential leaders at club/zone

• Promotes participation in leadership development

• Encourages engagement of new leaders

• Collaborates with the GLT-D on club officer training

• Communicates development needs to fellow members of GLT-D
