Wisconsin
Located in the Great Lakes Region of the Midwest, Wisconsin is bordered to the east by Lake Michigan, to the west by the St Croix River, and to the north it is separated from Canada by Lake Superior. This is a beautiful state, with over 15,000 lakes and thousands of miles of rivers and streams. Its varied countryside also includes sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches, northern forests and rich, southern farmland. Wisconsin is famed for its hospitality and friendly atmosphere and is known as the beer capital of the nation. Milwaukee, on the southeast shores of Lake Michigan, is the state’s largest city.

Avoca Avoca Lakeside Park & Campground Park #2673
The Village of Avoca lies in the Wisconsin River Valley in the area known as the Driftless Area. This part of Wisconsin is un-glaciated, being spared by the last great ice age that covered the rest of the state 10,000 years ago. The melting glacier formed the river valley, which is over 2 miles wide at Avoca. Belgium Harrington Beach Campground Park #886061 Harrington Beach State Park is located along the shore of Lake Michigan in Ozaukee County. The park encompasses about 702 acres, including one mile of wide, sandy beach, a scenic 25-acre quarry lake, an 80-acre white cedar lowland forest, and a 300-acre upland area affording a panoramic view of Lake Michigan and excellent birdwatching opportunities. Directions 35 miles north of Milwaukee and 21 miles south of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, via Interstate Highway 43. From I-43, take exit 107 (Belgium/Lake Church) and go east on County Highway D about 1 mile. The park entrance will be on your right .

Special Attractions • Black River Recreation Water skiing, boating, fishing Of Interest This family campground is located at the north end of the forest on Campground Road southeast of Hatfield. Half of its 24 sites are situated along the banks of the East Fork of the Black River.
Directions From Interstate 94, take Black River Falls exit 116 and travel west on highway 54 into Black River Falls. Drive to the third set of traffic lights. Turn left (south) onto highway 12/27, then turn left (east) onto highway 12. The campground is located approximately one mile east on highway 12.
