Remove all water from pond and fill holding tanks
Gently remove fish and place them into holding tanks
Remove most of the debris from the feature
Rinse down the pond, stream and/or waterfall while
pumping waste water into sewer or garden
Thin out pond plants, if necessary
Clean all filter pads with pond water

Perform needed maintenance on pond equipment
Check lighting system / replace bulbs as needed
Check pumps for blockage and leaks
Adjust any stone or rock that may have shifted
Add water conditioner to newly filled pond and start up
system
Reintroduce fish into pond
