Last lesson we used the verb ‘faire’ to do/make to talk about different activities, it is a very important and useful verb. Watch the video at least once and practise the pronunciation. Then try to learn as much of the verb as you can.

Me, I am very sporty/athletic. I love sport. I play football everyday and tennis twice a week. When it’s fine/the weather is nice, I go jogging and in winter I go ice skating with my friends, it’s great.

Use the vocabulary on the next two pages, and the work you have done over the last few weeks to help you to write a paragraph or make a poster about what you do according to the weather.

LESSON 18

Lesson 18 – Using technology in FrenchLinguascope username: wigmorehs password: bienvenue!

Log on to linguascope and select French and beginner. Choose the pink section ‘les loisirs’ and then ‘sur ordinateur’. Spend about 20 minutes on it. Pay particular attention to the pronunciation and practise saying the phrases aloud.

Make sure you start with the presentation, then you can choose the activities you do after that. Do the contrôle final for each section and screen shot, snip or take a picture of your certificate. If you have difficulty doing that, you could note your marks down in your book.
