Because all living things, plants, animals and human beings, need water to survive.

• Because it does not run out, but there is a limited amount. Most of the water on Earth recycles naturally, but the quantity always stays the same.

The majority of Earth’s water is FRESH WATER/SALT WATER and is found in OCEANS/LAKES. Only 3 out of every 100 liters of water on the planet is FRESH WATER/SALT WATER. The majority of fresh water is found as WATER VAPOUR/ICE in the poles; fresh water found below the surface of the Earthis called UNDERGROUND WATER/SURFACE WATER; fresh water that is found on the surface of the Earth is located in RIVERS AND LAKES/OCEANS AND SEAS;fresh water is also found in ROCKS/CLOUDS.
