• In honor of those who died serving the nation during wars (the Civil War, the Vietnam War…)

• by visiting cemeteries and placing flags or flowers on the graves of the heroes

• China was victory in the War of Resistance against Japan during WW2

• Japan agreed to sign the Instrument of Surrender on Aug.15,1945, and return Taiwan back to China. Japanese rule officially ended on Oct.25, 1945
