Today we are going to be learning about Germany and the Germans who have left their mark on

this world!

First, a little

history...

There are 4 major German-speaking

Countries:

Germany has a population of around

90 million people and is the largest German-speaking

country in the world.

Austria is the 2nd largest German-speaking country with a little over

8 million residents.

The population of Switzerland is

around 7.5 million strong! It

is a small but gorgeous country in Europe.

Liechtenstein is a small country located

in between Switzerland and

Austria. It is famous for its stamps. It has a approximately 34,000

inhabitants.
