We now offer Music Theory, AP Music Theory, and History of Popular Music. These courses offer a more in depth study of music and better prepare students who wish to major or minor in music after high school.

Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, and Singers are now ALL YEAR!

Show Choir is now a course during the school day!

Students can enroll for two ensembles which meet during the same time block and

split the time evenly between each ensemble!

There are ensembles that you can schedule during the same time block and receive credit for both. For example: Concert Band and Concert Chorus or Symphonic Winds and Quabbin Singers

Concert Band is available either as a 2 or 3 mester ensemble.

Concert Chorus is available as either a 1 or 2 mester ensemble.

Any grade level can audition for the upper level ensembles.

Beginning September 2013 QRHS will be offering the IB Diploma Programme and IB Certificate Courses for Juniors and Seniors What is the IB Diploma Programme?

The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme, has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.

Course selection process starts next week with assemblies for the middle school.

Programs of Study and Course Selection Sheets.

Students will turn in these sheets to their MS guidance counselor once they have chosen courses and had their sheets signed by a parent.

Course selection sheets include room for electives and alternatives.
