Submit to Forté• Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a

poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter?

• Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine

• Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com

• Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE• Deadline for Submissions is November 15th

• If you are interested in being on the executive board for "Today's Girls Tomorrow's Women" please see Ms. Hudock in 209 during your free period to pick up a resume requirement rubric before the end of the day on Thursday. Thank You.

Black and Gold Dress Down Day

• There will be a FREE Black and Gold Pirate dress down day on Tuesday, October 1.

• Show your support of the Pirates as they begin the playoffs!

• There will be a Global Awareness Club meeting today until 3pm.

• Come and help plan our first big event or just stop by if you are interested.

• There will be brownies!

Field Hockey Cancer Awareness Game

• Come support the field hockey seniors and the fight against cancer in one night of field hockey fun

The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the

A.J. Palumbo Centeron Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM

Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance. This is a great way to meet with representatives from a

variety of schoolsNo registration is required.

Cross Country News• The Oakland Catholic Crosscountry Team ran at the

McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, New York this past Saturday.

• 8,000 runners from 15 States and 6 Canadian Provinces competed.

• The team finished 4th out of 41 teams in their race. • Freshman Lauren Finikiotis finish12th and Junior

MaKenzie Zeh finished 22nd, • Seven Oakland runners received medals. • Congratulations to all of the Eagle runners.
