Welcome to Geometry & Construction WHS

Idea to combine Geometry and Construction
• Training in Loveland CO. (Contextual Learning, Inc.)
• Hands on learning for ALL students
• Learning academic concepts in real applications
How the class looks:
• 180 minutes every other day (2 block periods)
• Usually 90 minutes of math and 90 minutes of construction
• Current enrollment 29 students in grades 9-11
Goals
• Improve understanding of Geometry by applying theory in construction applications
• Increase enrollment and diversity in CTE
• AND YES, better test scores!!!
