Composition Book

• Daily homework, assignments, and labs go into composition book

• Homework: 2-3 times per week, an average of one hour total

• Entries are graded on a scale of 1-4

Grading50%- Tests, Quizzes, and Projects

– Tests are announced one week in advance– study guides and review sessions are offered for tests

30%- Labs, Current Events, and other Assignments

20%- Homework and Homework Quizzes

• Gradebook will be updated regularly

Attendance

•If your child is absent, he or she has one day per missed day to turn in work for full credit

•Encourage your child to check the website, email the teacher, and make an appointment to come to Thursday Science Help

Science Help

• Thursdays from 2:05 - 3:00 p.m. in our classroom

• For homework help, review sessions, and lab make-ups

• Students are encouraged to make appointments
