Welcome to the Lord’s day worship service at Grace Church.
We are truly blessed to be here this morning as we open God’s Word together, sing His praises,
and enjoy a time of fellowship in His presence.
Be sure to take advantage of the many fellowship and ministry
opportunities available to our church family today and
throughout the week.

Come, Thou Almighty King
Come, Thou Almighty King, help us Thy name to sing; Help us to praise;Father, all glorious, o’er all victorious,Come, and reign over us, Ancient of Days.
Come, Holy Comforter, Thy sacred witness bear, In this glad hour;Thou Who almighty art, now rule in ev’ry heart,And ne’er from us depart, Spirit of pow’r.
Come, Thou Incarnate Word, come Thou and gird on Thy mighty sword; Our prayer attend;Come, and Thy people bless, and give Thy word success.Spirit of holiness, on us descend.
To Thee, Great One in Three, eternal praises be, Hence evermore!Thy sov’reign majesty, may we in glory see,And to eternity, love and adore. Amen, Amen, Amen!

Jesus, Thy blood and righteousness My beauty are, my glorious dress;’Midst flaming worlds, in these arrayed, With joy shall I lift up my head.
Bold shall I stand in Thy great day, For who aught to my charge shall lay?Fully absolved through these I am, From sin and fear, from guilt and shame.

The release of The Chinese MacArthur Study Bible is an extremely significant milestone because it opens a huge part of the world to the detailed study notes that clearly explain God’s Word. The MacArthur Study Bible was already translated into seven other languages—Spanish, French,
Portuguese, Italian, Russian, German, and Arabic. But the Chinese translation alone doubles the size of the international audience who have access to this treasured resource, making it available to more than a billion new people.
In addition to the release of the Chinese Study Bible, the conference also resulted in a request for help in training the next generation of pastors and preachers for the church in several new regions across China. This request is more than we can currently handle with the missionaries that the Lord has given to our
church. More faithful men are needed on the mission field in order to meet the demand. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will “send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:38) in China, laborers who can now be equipped with the precious resource of His Word translated into Chinese.
Proclaiming the Truth of the GospelThis summer more than 120 members of our church family traveled to 11 different countries around the globe to serve on 13 Short-Term Ministries teams. Sent at the request of our missionaries and ministry partners and made possible by the support of our congregation, teams did everything from facilitating vacation Bible schools and sports outreach camps to teaching English, doing construction work, and conducting a variety of community outreach events. But while the service was varied, the focus was the same—supporting and encouraging our missionaries in their effort to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
If you were unable to go on an STM trip this year, 2015 could be your year to serve on a team. Join us on November 2 to learn more about STM 2015 and hear how you can participate in this exciting overseas ministry opportunity. Your life—and maybe someone else’s—will never be the same!

Local Outreach SpotlightRetirement Home MinistrySundays, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
On Sunday afternoons teams of volunteers visit two assisted-living facilities in Northridge. They provide a worship service with songs, Scripture reading, exhortation, and a short sermon. This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships and minister to the fainthearted. For more information call 818-909-5721.
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”
