MH SIS/ASD CollaborationProblem: OT representation in the mental health practice

area is decreasing Many practitioners would like to see this number increase

and hypothesized strategies of altering OT education, OT fieldwork, etc (per OT Connections) to increase OTs role in MH

Therefore, to find out more the 2011 ASD and MH SIS is teamed up to determine students experiences in terms of mental health fieldwork and coursework through a survey based on the Mental Health Specialized Knowledge and Skills paper (2010).

ASD supplied 3 delegates with interest in MH who are working the the MH SIS chair to create and distribute survey
