I will be going back to school in August.

I will be in P6a and my teachers will be Ms Roberts and Mrs Clark.

All the staff at St. Mary’s (Leith) Primary School are really looking forward to seeing me and the other children again.

They have been working very hard to make sure our school is safe for us in August.

When I return, I can help too, by:

washing my hands regularly,

only using my own equipment -like pencils, rubbers and glue sticks,

and following any other rules that my school has put in place to help keep us all safe.

I might have different feelings about going back to school.

This is okay.

If I don’t feel okay when I am in school, I can:

talk to my teacher or a PSA about how I’m feeling and what might help.

talk to my parent or carer about how I’m feeling and what might help.

draw or write how I’m feeling and what might help

Lots of things will stay the same:

I will do indoor and outdoor learning

I will be able to play with friends - my teacher will know games we can play at a distance if needed

I will have lunch and snack

I will have breaks

All the school staff will help to keep us safe.
