ITS – Intelligent Tutoring Systems

• knowledge of the domain • knowledge of the learner • knowledge of teacher strategies

With the use of Artificial Intelligence techniques, ITS can

identify students strengths, weaknesses and preferred style

of learning.

Conclusions

• Emerging research shows that learning is fundamentally both social

and experiential.

• Intelligent tutoring systems integrated into web-based environment

can enhance its efficiency and flexibility and has great potentials in

facilitation of collaborative learning.

• Collaborative Intelligent Tutoring System (CITS) should be able to

provide an environment, where the student can interact with one or

more, simulated collaborative partners and/or fellow students, to

progress towards a common goal of learning.
