Suzii Paynter, Executive Coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, will be our guest proclaimer in both worship services this Sunday! Second B is a member of CBF, a network of 1,800 congregations all over the world. CBF supports a wide range of mis-sions and ministries that give people mean-ingful opportunities to put their faith to action. Paynter is the first woman to serve in this national office, and we are honored to have her as our guest. Please come Sunday to show her a warm and enthusiastic Second B welcome! Our Youth Ministry wants to thank you for baking over 2000 cookies to help raise funds for their Mission Trip to Washington, D.C. this summer! What a great response in sup-port of our youth! THANK YOU! Did you know that you could receive com-munion each month on Wednesday nights? The Deacons will next serve a Silent Com-
munion on May 13th
from 5:00-5:45 p.m. in Room 128. Call Scott or Tonya McPherson if you have any questions.
Fun at the Block Party!
Servant Spotlight Steve Beasley teaches Sunday School for our high school. Steve and his wife Kelly regularly host fellowship gatherings and parties at their home. As a professional educator, Steve is an exceptional Sunday school teacher, and I (Jakob) often find
myself taking notes on his content and teaching strategies. Steve organi-cally models passion and authenticity with our stu-dents. For Steve we give thanks.
