Key components of service on the Board of Directors includes but is not limited to per the VOE-Network Bylaws:

• Approve the budget.

• Review and approve plans of reorganization, growth, and contraction.

• Review, sign, and assure submission of annual reports.

• Meet annually and as needed, even if only electronically.

• Review and approve amendments to the bylaws.

• Create committees and hire consultants.

• Authorize collaborations, other commitments of the organization, and their terms.

• Keep records of its activities.

Key components of service on the Membership Committee includes but is not limited to:• Establish and maintain recruiting materials.

• Recruit new members.

• Conduct annual satisfaction surveys and advise BOD and Program Committee of value gaps.

• Qualifications: candidate's employer must be a VOE-N member in good standing.

Program CommitteeOpen positions: 4

Key components of service on the Program Committee includes but is not limited to:• Organize and execute training programs for vivarium

personnel of all levels.

• Plan informative and social events for VOE-N members, such as Business meetings, organize webinars with members and guest speakers, arrange for tours at participating programs and plant tours in other industries.

• Qualifications: candidate's employer must be a VOE-N member in good standing.
