Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Vocational Program Guide

Built for Life Fire Department works with instructors and students at local technical/vocational school program to complete a home fire sprinkler education program to include the following:

• Utilize HFSC’s Fire and Sprinkler Demonstration Kit to build a side-by-side demonstration and conduct a demonstration as a community event

Students are encouraged to view one of the following HFSC educational videos:

Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Vocational Program Guide

Students review the “Fire Sprinkler Systems for New One- and Two-Family Homes” presentation and complete the quiz.

Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Vocational Program Guide

Submit the names of the students who completed the course to HFSC.

Students should be recognized at fire sprinkler demonstration.

Each student will receive a personalized “Built for Life” certificate.

Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Vocational Program Guide

Upon completion of the program, Built for Life Fire Departments will be required to evaluate the educational effectiveness of the program and event; and report education course and event summary/evaluation findings to HFSC.
