MASTER’S MESSAGE FROM THE EAST

First, I would like to say congratulations to our newest fellow Masons, Brother

Donald Robert Campbell who received the First Degree of Masonry on May 27, 2010

and Brother Michael William Sutliff who received the First Degree of Masonry on

June 02, 2010. I would also like to say congratulations to our newest affiliation

Brother Leonard John Millick. Brother LJ has jumped right in to help with degree

work at Vitruvius and Petaluma-Hamilton Lodges. Thanks Brother LJ for all of the support.

At our June Stated Meeting, we officially announced Brother Daniel Martin Stephens as our

2010 Master Mason of The Year. The Mason of The Year Program will be held on Friday

September 03, 2010 at Santa Rosa Scottish Rite. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the

program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Grand Master Kenneth George Nagel & Lady Kathy will be

attending. Please contact the Lodge if you would like to attend so we can reserve your seats.

We also received one Reference Application for Degrees from Mr. Frank David Aguilar Jr. and

two new Applications for Affiliation from Brother Donald Richard Fowler and Brother Tony

Varrise Waller.

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at our Stated Meeting, the Division I Assistant Grand Lecturer,

Worshipful Martin David Perry PM, will be making a 50 year presentation to Brother Milton

Lawrence Forman PM. We will be serving a free dinner for this special occasion. Please call in

your reservations for this event to Brother Richard A. Fonseca at (707) 792-8284.

We have installed a pool table, juke box and soda machine in the Lodge so we can meet at the

Lodge, not only to work but to relax and have fun. Please check your upcoming Trestleboards

for Masonic Family Fun dates and times.

It has been a very busy year and it doesn’t look like its going to slow down, I think its time for a

long needed break. We are thinking about renting a couple of Patio Boats from Lake Sonoma so

we can float on the lake while barbecuing, dancing, playing cards/dominos and swimming. We

are thinking about having this event on Saturday August 28, 2010. Please let me know if you

would like to attend A.S.A.P. We hope this will be a great way to get brothers, Masonic youth

groups, friends and families together to experience the Brotherly Love of Vitruvius and

Petaluma-Hamilton Lodges. Lake Sonoma Marina Patio is equipped with BBQ's, picnic tables,

and volleyball nets; we will have everything you need to have a great day at the lake.

MESSAGE FROM THE SOUTH

I would like to express my warmest regards and happiest of wishes from Europe! I

have been enjoying myself in Italy and Germany spending time with relatives some

distant and others pretty close as well as seeing the amazing sites of the Old Country.

However, I am really looking forward to returning back to Sonoma County on July

15th and starting back up with my Junior Warden activities. I want to thank all of the

Brothers who stepped up in my absence and provided meals and refreshments at all of

our recent functions. I have missed you all and am looking forward to the renewed fellowship
