Information: 

NEW MEETING DAY!  FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH.  New 

meeting location at Fiesta Guadalajara at 704 E. Fairview in Meridian.  

The new day is so we get to use the separate for a quieter setting.  

(They do have other food available if you do not like Mexican food 

although it was very tasty.)   Our first meeting there was very pleasant.  

Good, polite service and the food was delicious.    

I am still looking for show bills for September.   Treasure Valley Paint 

Horse Club show bill is in this newsletter.  Double point show bill will 

be posted on Facebook and the website as soon as it’s done and then 

in the September newsletter. 

No change to points or declarations since last newsletter.  Hopefully 

everything will be corrected and updated by next month.  My 

apologies again.

August 2018

General Membership Meeting: August 1st  Fiesta Guadalajara 

 The meeting called to order by President Barbara Miskell  

Attendance:   Anne,   Linda, Wade, Trish, Dwayne, Deneen, Rylene and Bonnie. 

Minutes: Were approved as printed in the newsletter moved by Bonnie/Trish.   

 Treasurers Report: The regular account has $8,989.01, the double point account $8.039.20 & the scholarship 

account has $3,851.99.  Rylene has paid the deposit on the Horse park arena for the fall show.   

Committee Reports:   

Banquet  committee:   The date for the banquet will be in the newsletter.  Barb & Deneen are discussing the 

banquet.  More details later when something solid has been determined.   

Awards committee:    Donna B was absent. 

 Double point show:  Wade reported the fall double point show planning is complete.   The judges will be 

Ginny Miller & Torrie Brooks.   This is a three day show starting 9‐28 thru 9‐30.  Friday will be ranch horse, Sat 

will have some fun classes added.  See the show bill. 

EPRB/LOC: Donna B absent  

Scholarship Fund:    $3,851.99 in the fund. No report Jamie was absent.    No one has filed a request for the 

scholarship fund at this time.   

Newsletter & website:  Jamey was absent.  Some suggestions were made to improve the website.   

Point persons:  Jody was absent.  The points will continue being placed in the newsletter .  A quest is on to 

find some new programs for points.   

Bonnie/ Trish moved we close the general  meeting & move to the executive meeting.  Approved.   

Next meeting:    Sept 6 (Thursday) 7:00pm at Fiesta Guadalajara, Meridian
