What’s a pronoun?

*A pronoun is a word (usually a little word) which replaces another word to either shorten a sentence or question or to clarify.

Direct Object Pronouns• The direct object of a sentence is usually a person

or a thing. • It receives the action of the verb.• It usually answers the questions whom? or

You can simplify your statement in Spanish just like we do in English by substituting in a direct object pronoun for the object of the sentence which is receiving the ACTION of the verb.
