Valentines for CVE(a silly “how to”)

STEP 1: Fold the Valentine into a card

Hold the card in your hand and then….

STEP 2: Add positive comments to the front of your card

A list of suggestions has been provided to your CARE Rep and teacher. You can refer to that if you can’t think of anything to write.

STEP 3: Write a short but inspiring message inside the card.

STEP 4: Make it look nice!Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to add color and your own unique touch!

You will be provided with some stickers but we have a limited amount – feel free to bring in your own materials to decorate your card.

Each homeroom is assigned to a grade level. If you are assigned a Kindergarten class, then try to make your cards something a Kindergartner would like to read. If you are

assigned to a 4th grade class, your card can reflect some higher level wisdom.

We are creating these Valentines for the elementary students at CVE. They will receive them the week of Valentine’s Day. We would like you to send the students a positive message (not a LOVE message). These younger students look up to you

and this will mean a great deal to them. Please have fun making the cards but take it seriously.
