User manual (purely indicative)
For information submission and fees payment and generation of acknowledgement slip by
candidates qualified through NEET UG 2017 and participating in West Bengal State Quota and
Private College Management Quota counseling 2017
Candidates qualified through NEET UG 2017 and wanting to participate in West Bengal State Quota
and Private College Management Quota counseling 2017 have to access the website
www.wbmcc.nic.in website as per schedule and have to click the UG Medical Counseling box as
shown below:-
The following webpage will be available:-
The candidate has to click the button “Application for participation in pre counseling”
The following web page will be available as shown below:-
The candidate has to fill the data like Roll No, Application Number, Date of birth and the security pin
appearing in the screen:-
After clicking the Submit button the following webpage will appear:-
Here the candidate has to put his/her Mobile No, Email ID, Complete mailing address and pincode
and has to click on the button “ Continue”:-
The candidate details as filled up here and during filling up of form for NEET UG as received from
MOHFW, GOI will appear for confirmation of the candidate:-
On the above, candidate has to declare whether he/she has obtained required marks (as specified in
MCI Graduate Medical Education 1997) in 10+2 examination or equivalent. If the answer is no, the
candidate will not be allowed to participate further.
If the answer to the question is Yes, then the following page will appear:-
If the candidate states that either he/she or parents are not domicile of West Bengal then the
candidate will only be eligible for Private College Management Quota seats.
Clicking of the confirm submission button then will lead the candidate to the payment page straight
away:-
The payment page opens (purely indicative) where the candidate can pay online by various ways:-
If the transaction fails then the following will be displayed (indicative):-
If the transaction is successful and the internet connection is uninterrupted then the candidate is
redirected to NIC server and the following transaction ID page appears (indicative):-
The page is printable and needed to be produced during verification.
If payment is successful but candidate fails to print at this stage the following steps can be taken:-
Click on to the button “View your transaction Id”:-
Fill the data and click search button to generate the transaction id and take print out.
After successful payment the slip generation of the candidate will require these steps:-
Candidates who are not domicile to the state of WB , neither their parent/s is/are domicile of WB,
are only eligible for Private Management Quota seats only and they will verify the documents only at
the respective Private medical/Dental institute if they are allotted through counselling.
Candidates who are either self domicile of West Bengal or parent/s is/are domicile of West Bengal
their filled up form will be like this (indicative):-

The candidate has to select proforma a1 or a2 or b carefully as has to produce the same during
document verification else will be debarred from participating further.
Then the caste status related information has to be provided (indicative):-
Above for candidate who stated as UR during form fill up of CBSE NEET UG as has been handed
over to Dept of Health and Family Welfare Govt of WB by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
Govt of India. But any change of category must be supported by document during verification and
candidate has to check eligibility for caste as UR eligibility for counselling and choice filling is 50th
percentile or above in NEET UG 2017; SC/ST/OBC A/OBC B eligibility is 40th percentile or above and
PH seats eligibility 45th Percentile or above.
The above is the example where the candidates who have stated that they are SC/ST/OBC they
will be asked whether they are SC or ST or OBC from West Bengal ( certiifcate issued in WB or not).
If yes, they will be allowed for participating in category seats as per rule but if they are not
SC/ST/OBC of West Bengal they are only allowed to participate as Unreserved provided they have
the marks of UR. OBC candidates who are from WB they have to answer whether they are OBC A
or OBC B.
If the candidate is PH ( physically handicapped orthopedically of lower limb only between 40-70%
disability which should be certified in prescribed proforma from IPGMER Medical Board West
Bengal, they are asked following questions:-
