This conference will examine new business partnership opportunities for China and the United States, as they enter a new phase in their economic relationship. As the two largest economies in the world, the nations will benefit from mutually beneficial business partnerships that foster growth and trade. In addition, conference participants will discuss the role of governments in supporting innovative businesses.
Scheduled topics for panel discussions include the challenges in harmonizing corporate governance and taxation, assessing the role of small businesses in cross-border trade, and exploring new financing opportunities.
Other thought-provoking topics will be discussed by a panel of leading government officials, business executives, and academics from the United States and China. A white paper outlining some of the major policy recommendations will be published following the conference.
The conference will also provide an opportunity for networking with companies and government officials from both countries.
