Updates’ Presentation
Week 13 By Anna Pavan
Goal Sheet
A PRIORITIES
❖ 1) Start working on website. Have it done for the week after break.
❖ 2) Edit Rhonda Vincent Poster ASAP (possibly finish it on Monday)
B PRIORITIES❖ FAD poster
Concert Poster❖ As predicted, the client had some comments he felt it need to express about the poster and these were
some of their requests/suggestions:
1. design a draft poster vertically design in addition to the horizontal for comparison purposes
2. The businesses on the last line are not sponsors, they are Ticket Sale Locations and need to be more visible and obvious
3. The Centennial logo and "celebrating 100 Years of Service in Kirksville" should be larger and more obvious
4. several design ideas to work with
5. To get people's attention, I wonder if we use a heading something like Performing in Concert...Rhonda Vincent and the Rage or Rhonda Vincent and the Rage in Concert etc.
❖ I satisfied their requests except for the fourth one, as I advised them that the style of the ticket should have been as faithful as possible to the original ticket style and that the only variation I would have agreed to work on was just a change of background color (third figure on the following slide).

Revision of Self-Promoting Logo, Business Card and Resume
❖ In addition to the briefs that I predetermined I was going to work on, I also decided to improve the overall look of my initial self-promoting stationery set and I finally came out with a solution I could potentially be satisfied with and I will show them in the following slides
❖ The logo is based on a simple repetition inspired by the mirroring nature of my name enclosed in a light blue (my favorite color) square.
❖ The resume is inspired by the logo and it is aiming to create something innovative yet maintaining simplicity.
❖ I am not too satisfied with the look of the business card, therefore, I would have to work more on it.
❖ Envelope soon to come

LAYOUTS
❖ Here is an earlier version of the layout I planned when I was utilizing the old logo. Naturally the color palette needs to change in lieu of the change in stationery design (therefore I will convert the color to a blue and grey scale).
…website continues: work in progress❖ I set the due date for the website to be after Thanksgiving break,
but to demonstrate that I actually started working on it here there is a screenshot of the coding I have concluded so far.
FAD Poster❖ As I mentioned earlier, my work
was repeatedly disrupted by traveling, therefore I was only able to convert the raster illustration for the FAD poster, to a vector graphic. As now I am still planning on leaving the image in black and white, change the background color and overlaying a pattern onto it. For obvious reasons, I am not very good with English words, therefore, I may need a collective brainstorming with other FAD members to come up with a slogan
