Courses in the master’s program are taught each year by teaching faculty members from participating Frenchuniversities.MoststudentsgraduatingfromthisprogramgoontopursueaPhDprogramwithinaFrenchresearchlaboratory. Students enrolled at the USTH are also enrolled in a French university, the degree they earn being both Vietnamese and French.Thismaster’sdegreeisledbyVietnam.AllclassestakeplaceinHanoi.

•The“professional”partofthetrainingleadstocareersasprojectmanager,researchanddevelopmentassistant.•The“research”partofthetraininggivesaccesstoPhDprograms(internationallyrecognized,withco-advisingandindustrialCIFREfundingopportunities),thentocareersasprincipalinvestigatorsinpublicorprivateresearch,clinicaltrialinvestigators,researchandteachingfacultyappointments,R&Dmanagersinsemiconductor,telecommunications,surface treatment, nanotechnology and nanochemistry industries.

AstheentireprogramistaughtinEnglish,studentshavetheopportunitytogainspecificscientificlanguageskills.

•SemesterS1M1(30ECTScredits)with7jointTUs(TeachingUnits)andtwospecializationTUs•SemesterS2M1(30ECTScredit)with1jointTU(labwork),4specializationTUsandone3month(12weeks)laboratoryproject.•Semester3M2(30ECTScredits)with5jointTUsand2to3specializationTUs•Semester4M2(30ECTScredits)with6specializationsTUsanda6monthsinternshipinapublicresearchlaboratoryor in industry.

Admission requirementsTheMasterisopentoallapplicantswho:
