WelcomeUniversity open days are your opportunity to explore the University of Hertfordshire and to discover what studying here is really like.
You will have the opportunity to:
attend talks on your subject of interest
find out all you need to know about student support and student finance
tour our campuses, guided by one of our Student Ambassadors
talk to staff and current students
see our accommodation
talk to our staff about the support available to students

On ArrivalRegistrationRegistration desks are located at Main Reception on College Lane Campus and will open from 09.00 on Saturday 21 March.
Registration desks can also be found in the Atrium of the de Havilland Campus.
TalksWe are expecting high visitor numbers at the open day, so we request that you take nomore than two guests into any talks you attend.
RefreshmentsCafe Forum, Cafe Røre and the restaurant will be open from 08.30-15.00 serving beverages, snacks and meals.

ToursCollege Lane Campus (ticket required)A walk round the campus lasting approximately 45 minutes led by one of our current students. Tours depart from the Hutton Hub with the first tour starting at 09.00 and the last tour departing at 15.00. Campus tours are ticketed and you can collect a ticket from the Student Centre within the Hutton Hub.
College Lane AccommodationTake a tour of the University accommodation and living areas. Tours depart from the LRC foyer. The first tour departs at 09.00 and the last tour departs at 15.45.
Bayfordbury Observatory and Field StationIf you are interested in Physics and Astronomy, you can visit our Bayfordbury site. A free coach will leave at 14.00 from outside The Forum Hertfordshire on the College Lane Campus and return to the College Lane Campus at 15.45.
Meridian House Meridian House is a state of the art teaching facility including:

Getting hereBy RailThere are fast and frequent trains to Hatfield from London Kings Cross, and shuttle buses will run from Hatfield Station to the College Lane and de Havilland campuses.
By BusPlease visit the Uno website www.unobus.info for timetable information.
By RoadThe campuses are close to junction 3 of the A1(M). The post code for College Lane is AL10 9AB and AL10 9EU for de Havilland. Please note that College Lane is a no through road. The campus entrance is signposted from J3 A1(M).
Parking All Hatfield Campus car parks are free for Open Day visitors.
Free Shuttle Buses You can easily visit both campuses during the Open Day using the free shuttle bus. The bus leaves from the bus stop at College Lane Forum and at the back of the de Havilland Campus behind the Sports Village. There is also a free shuttle bus service from and to Hatfield Station. All services start at 08.30 and the last buses will depart at 15.30.

Getting hereBy RailThere are fast and frequent trains to Hatfield from London Kings Cross, and shuttle buses will run from Hatfield Station to the College Lane and de Havilland campuses.
By BusPlease visit the Uno website www.unobus.info for timetable information.
By RoadThe campuses are close to junction 3 of the A1(M). The post code for College Lane is AL10 9AB and AL10 9EU for de Havilland. Please note that College Lane is a no through road. The campus entrance is signposted from J3 A1(M).
Parking All Hatfield Campus car parks are free for Open Day visitors.
Free Shuttle Buses You can easily visit both campuses during the Open Day using the free shuttle bus. The bus leaves from the bus stop at College Lane Forum and at the back of the de Havilland Campus behind the Sports Village. There is also a free shuttle bus service from and to Hatfield Station. All services start at 08.30 and the last buses will depart at 15.30.
