Temporary/Task Teams
When work is urgent temporary teams may be established, e.g. the London Bombings 2005 over 10,000 police were involved. The fulfilment of tasks is more important than team spirit.
Better solutions - Collective “Brain Power” often out matches that of a single person.
Increased knowledge – Teams offer new connections that can lead to new ideas.
“Team Synergy is achieved when people work together to create a better solution than either could alone. It’s not your way-- or my way--but a better way.” Sean
Covey
