Attention: Observe the ESD safety regulations
WiringBefore disconnecting any leads and especially the earth connectingleads observe the way they are routed to the individual assemblies.On completion of the repairs the leads must be laid out as originallyfitted at the factory to avoid later failures or disturbances.
Carrying out MeasurementsWhen making measurements on semi-conductors with an oscillo-scope, ensure that the test probe is set to 10:1 dividing factor. If theprevious measurement was made on AC input, please note that thecoupling capacitor in the oscilloscope will be charged. Discharge viathe item being checked can damage the components.

LeitungsverlegungBevor Sie die Leitungen und insbesondere die Masseleitungen lösen,muss die Leitungsverlegung zu den einzelnen Baugruppen beachtetwerden.Nach erfolgter Reparatur ist es notwendig, die Leitungsführung wiederin den werkseitigen Zustand zu versetzen um evtl. spätere Ausfälleoder Störungen zu vermeiden.
Durchführen von MessungenBei Messungen mit dem Oszilloskop an Halbleitern sollten Sie nurTastköpfe mit 10:1 - Teiler verwenden. Außerdem ist zu beachten,dass nach vorheriger Messung mit AC-Kopplung der Koppelkonden-sator des Oszilloskops aufgeladen sein kann. Durch die Entladungüber das Messobjekt können Bauteile beschädigt werden.

Sets the prescale values for the input sounds entering the scart input of the MSP (Micronas So-und Processor). Changing this value you can adjust the level of the output sound going toloudspeakers for all the sources except the Tuners. The range is between 0 and 100.Sets the prescale values for the Nicam standard sounds for tuner inputs. Changing this value youcan adjust the level of the output sound going to loudspeakers for Nicam sounds entering the ana-log sound input of MSP. The range is between 0 and 100.

Selects the color for the internal pattern of PW181 IC. There are 4 choices: all, red, green andblue. If you choose all, you can see the white pattern and if you choose one of the other choicesyou can see the test pattern with the selected color.This option will adjust the level of the colors for the test pattern. The range is between 1 and 64.

This option will enable or disable the Initial setup for the TV. Setting this option to On, the TV willopen from the Quick setup menu. Setting this option to Off will disable this option.Factory reset option executes a reset operation for the NVRAM.
