KEEP MODESTY IN MIND, WHEN SHOPPING. THE
DRESS CODE GUIDELINESWILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
#1Dresses may NOT be cut below the bust line.
The bust continues around your sidesdirectly under the armpit. With arms downat your side, if flesh touches flesh belowthe bust line, the dress is inappropriate.

#2Dresses may be backless as long as they are NOT cutbelow the naval.

#3MIDRIFFS WILL NOT BE EXPOSED.THIS INCLUDES BOTH FRONT AND SIDE. WITH ARMS DOWN AT YOUR SIDE, IF FLESH TOUCHES FLESH IN THE MIDRIFF SECTION, THE DRESS IS INAPPROPRIATE. IF THE DRESS HAS A SHEER CUTOUT, THERE MUST BE MATERIAL UNDER THE CUTOUT SO THAT NO SKIN IS SHOWN.

#4DRESSES MAY NOTHAVE A SLIT THAT EXCEEDS MID-THIGH.

¢ No cover-ups (coats, shawls, sweaters) will be allowed over dresses that do not meet dress code.
¢ If without the inserts the dress does not meet dress code.Fabric inserts must be sewn, not pinned on the dress.
¢ While we will be reasonable in our interpretation of these guidelines, we want you to know that you will NOT be allowed into the dance if you are dressed inappropriately.

GENTLEMEN’S ATTIRE¢ Appropriate attire is expected. Attire may
include full suits and tie or a full tuxedo.¢ No canes are allowed.¢ Hats are allowed.
GENTLEMEN:
If you bring an off campus date she must be in compliance with the
TCHS prom dress code. If she is not in compliance she may be turned
away.
