The period was characterised by heat It had vast deserts and warm seas

MAMMALS AND OTHER ANIMALS

The mammals and other animals in this period were Frogs, Turtles, Crocodiles, Ammonites, Nautiluses, Squids, Dragonflies, Scorpions, Millipedes, Goose barnacles, Snails, Slugs, Jellyfishes, Cynodonts, Placerias, Therapsids and Synapsids

PLANTS AND VEGETATION

In this period there were Conifers, Modern Conifers and Evergreens

In general the dinosaurs were small and lightly built
