A grungy song needs a gloomy and dark video and this is what I’m aiming for. The songs starts off with a mean, hard hitting riff which means my video will have to start off with similar action. My video’s narrative is of a mysterious, wanted criminal chasing a civilian who knows and recognises the criminal. The speed of the video will start slowly, then build up to the chorus and after the chorus it will go back to being slow then again will build up to the chorus and outro.

The visual style of the video will give off a gloomy feel which represents the song and its genre. The enviroment will be shown as depressing and grim by having no bright colours shown, having cloudy weather and keeping it grey-ish and dark. The camera will be choppy when it is on the move and will stay close to the actors to capture the emotion of the actors.

At the start of the video, the criminal is introduced, walking through a grimey, urban environment to reflect the subject matter. The video then cuts to a civilian walking his dog through a local park, they then cross paths and the civilian slowly recognises the criminal then runs, with the criminal chasing him. They run through the streets of the town and the civilian gets away. The scene then changes to an inside of a café where the civilian is shaking whilst holding/drinking a hot drink. The criminal walks past and sees the civilian, the criminal then enters the café and sits behind the civilian. The civilian gets up and walks out the café, as soon as he gets out the café, he runs and he is followed by the criminal, they run down small alleyways and then the civilian trips up. The video ends with the connotation that the civilian is getting mudered.

So, in conclusion, this dark, aggressive song will have this dark and aggressive music video of inevitible death making the viewer hooked watching the video anticipating the moment of his death
