Update From The Office
Hopefully we have seen
the last of old man winter. A
few of our residents are
dissatisfied with the plowing
of the roads. When the snow
is under four (4) inches only
the main roads are plowed,
due to the accumulation in
recent weeks it has been
decided to clear all the roads
as best as possible. Cull-De
Sacs are the most difficult,
due to having no where to
put the snow without
blocking a driveway. We do
the best we can. Breakdowns
have been a problem
throughout the winter along
with ware and tare on our
staff. Many thanks to them,
some have spent the night at
the maintenance building for
emergencies.
During the major cold
snap the heating system
froze up at the Community
Center. We replaced the
electric heater that wasn't
working at all with an oil
filled base board that is more
efficient both dual heat/Ac
unit failed and are also being
contracted out for
replacement. Many thanks
to Director Dan Hunton and
Joe McCarry AKA Moose for
their assistance to
maintenance for resolving
this problem.

Easter Bunny Photo Craft
Make this Easter bunny photo craft to turn your child's face into a funny, framed art project.
You Will Need:
Mini frame (you can find 6 mini frames for $1 at most dollar stores, or cut one out of cardboard, or cardstock)
Craft foam or felt for the ears and teeth
Pom-poms
Craft glue
A full-face photo of your little silly
What to Do:
To make the ears:
1. Cut a square of felt, fold it in half and cut 2 ear shapes at the same time. Do the same (but a bit smaller) for the pink inner-ear part.
2. Leave a bit of space at the bottom of the ears so you can attach them to the back of the frame.
To make the nose:
1. Cut a little triangle-ish shape of felt to glue the three pom-poms on. Cut a square for the teeth and glue to the bottom of the frame, then
glue the pom-pom triangle to the frame, allowing it to float into the open space of the frame. This way, you don’t have to glue the pom-
poms directly to the photo in the frame.

When we sat down at the our pub-
lications meeting, we spent a lot
of time talking about what to in-
clude for articles and the topic of
the annual election continued to
come up. Telling people how to
run is one thing, to ask them to
consider running is another. So I
said I would share why I think it’s
a good idea to run for the board, at
least it has been for me.
For me, deciding to run was a no
brainer. We were new to the com-
munity and I wanted to meet peo-
ple and find out more about what
goes on around here. Sure you can
talk to your neighbors and people
at the club, but what better place
to get information than directly
from the board. So when I saw the
sign for an open positon, I put my
hat in the ring and surprisingly,
was chosen to serve out the term.
I knew from previous experience
it was going to be like working a
part time job along with my full
time one. So why put up with the
aggravation? Because I knew that
I was doing what I could to ensure
that my property value was main-
tained and we opened up commu-
nication more to the community
and the board.
Well, it’s been exactly what I ex-
pected. We don’t all agree, but we
each get to voice our opinions.
And the decisions we’ve been
making ensure that our communi-
ty will continue to thrive. We have
also added a section to the website
for community updates so we can
let folks know what’s going on in
the community.
I know it’s not for everyone, but if
you’re thinking of running for the
board - go for it. If not, stop by a
board meeting to hear for yourself
what’s going on in the communi-
ty, we meet the 2nd Saturday of the
month at 10:00 AM at the Teepee.
