Definitions
Sec.2(h) of the Indian Trade Union Act, 1926defines trade union as any combination,whether temporary or permanent, formed
primarily for the purpose of regulating therelations between workmen and employers orbetween workmen and workmen, or betweenemployers and employers, or for imposingrestrictive conditions on the conduct of anytrade or business, and includes any federationof two or more trade unions.
