UPDATES FROM DEPARTMENTS …
Finance
o Utility disconnects were on Thursday, June 16, for the properties still delinquent from the April Utility Billing. Fourteen (14) properties were shut off for non-payment. Twelve (12) properties have come in and paid – water has been restored. Two properties are still without water.
o As of June 17, the Town has collected $1,374,723 (90%) of the FY 2017 Property Tax Billing ($1,533,832)
o Staff participated in a webinar regarding “Municipal Safety Programs” o Monthly Key Revenue Items Report (May 2016) – Copy Attached
Wastewater
o Lagoon depths: Large Lagoon is 10.5 feet and Small Lagoon is 5.75 feet o Resolved pump issues at Burton Street pump station o Plaza pump station grease vacuumed out with pump truck o Cleared nozzles on Baxter irrigation rigs
Public Works
o Repaired water service line on North Bedford Street o Relocated stage to St. Michael’s Catholic Church o Placed “Parklet” in front of The Upper Crust
Police
o Significant Incident Reports and Press Releases distributed as prepared o Weekly and Year to Date crime statistics (selected crimes) updated (copy attached)

New Seasonal Parks Worker started with the Town on Monday, June 13 Worked with KCI Technologies on Neighborhood Building Blocks Grant Application
(implementation of Downtown Development District) and Comprehensive Plan proposal – both items will be on the June 22 Town Council Agenda (Gene Dvornick, Jocelyn Godwin)
Participated in Water Infrastructure Advisory Council Finance Committee conference call
2015 Consumer Confidence Report (Water) distributed and Press Release issued Facilitated CMI Environmental Screening for Town facilities (public works and water
reclamation) (Gene Dvornick, Laura Givens) Revised job description for Administrative Assistant (Part-time) (Gene Dvornick, Laura
Givens, Jocelyn Godwin, Olga Holm) Revised Code Enforcement Notice of Deficiency to more accurately reflect corrective
action required Attend Small Business Caucus at Legislative Hall – opportunity for municipalities to
share success stories and any barriers to economic development (Gene Dvornick, Bill West)
Reviewed and revised iCompass Services Agreement after discussion with Town Solicitor
Met with local business and property owner to discuss alternatives for a property currently vacant (Gene Dvornick, Bill West)
Completed Memorandum of Understanding for Summer Youth Employment Program with First State Community Action Agency – Town Hall Receptionist/Cashier assistance
Addressed several code violations
