Tax Justice Network-Africa and Third World Network-Africa along with Economic Commission for Africa and African Union will host a CSO side event on the report of the AU/ECA High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa and the recently launched “Stop The Bleeding” Africa IFF Campaign on July 15, 2015.This event will take place during the Third UN Financing for Development Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian from July 13 – 16, 2015.A key objective of this high profile side event is to get political buy-in to the Pan-African CSO-led “Stop The Bleeding” campaign by Africa’s leadership and the international community.Speakers will include H.E. Edgar Lungu, President of Zambia, Stefan Lofven, Prime Minister of Sweden, Thabo Mbeki former President of South Africa, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission and Dr. Carlos Lopes, Executive Secretary of the UNECA.
