At a small, small school in East Vancouver…

A group of Grade 4 students from Tillicum

Elementary School were presented with a Golden

coin.

This coin is part of a Coinspiracy Project going on at schools all over the

world.

When the students at Tillicum were given this coin, they promised to

perform Three Kind Acts.

Kind Act to Self.

Kind Act to Another.

Kind Act to the Environment.

The Grade 4’s were excited to get going on this project and

really wanted to make the first three acts the BEST!

After three weeks, Division 1 students at Tillicum were able to come up with and perform Three Kind Acts that would help set a standard for the rest of the school to meet.

Let’s take a look at what the Grade 4

students of Division 1 did over the course of three

weeks.

Definition:The ability to perform an act of kindness towards oneself. This may include improving self-esteem, learning the importance of eating healthy foods and practicing good exercise habits.

all this running.

Definition:

The ability to perform an act of kindness towards the environment. Our environment includes our neighbourhood, parks, beaches, city streets and even around our school.

This is much

cleaner.

Hey our neighbourhood is a

mess. Let’s do a big clean up!

I wish people would take more care in keeping

our neighbourhood

clean.

We need to keep our

home clean too!

This place is looking much better. Let’s hope people see our Kind

Act and continue to take care of this place.
