Vision2023Under the Vision 2023, Turkish Civil Aviation sector is emerging to become a main player not only across the Euro-Asia region but also across the World. By 2023, Istanbul is expected to host more than 150 million passengers per year with the world’s third biggest airport. Turkish Flag Carrier will top 100 million passengers connecting six continents with more than 2000 daily flights to more than 350 flight destinations. By 2023, Turkey is aiming to not only have a five star air transportation forte but also engineering capability to design and build indigineous regional jets to serve the short-haul market, thus connecting more people than any other region within the World.
Turkish Aviation Academy has been providing training and consultancy services to Turkish Airlines and other domestic and foreign aviation companies since 1982. It is one of the pioneer academies that offers wide range of training programs approved by national and international authorities. The Academy, which is increasing the scope and efficiency of its trainings by obtaining approvals and accreditations every passing day, is now coordinating a Masters Degree Program on Air Transport Management in cooperation with Istanbul Technical University for professionals who would like to lead the aviaton sector. Air Transport Management Master Programme is considered to be a unique programme in that it is delivered by the instructors from the most prominent institutions in the field of aviation such as Boeing, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cranfield University, University of British Columbia and Istanbul Technical University.

Courses and Degree RequirementsThe courses are administrated in their respective autumn and spring semesters.
Degree Candidates are required to successfully complete • all the 8 courses from Compulsory and Core Parts,• 4 courses from Electives, and• Graduation Project.
Typical Degree Candidate is expected to graduate in 2 years by taking 3 courses per semester for 4 semesters. Graduation Project. Graduation Project is tailored for solving real life problems stemming from Airlines’ managements and operations.
Course FormatEach course includes forty two hours of class administrated in six days of seven hour lectures (monday-saturday).
The on-site exams are administred within one month following the lecture week. Lectures can include associated Project Work which need to be completed by the end of the term.
