servedasapastorintheChurchofGod.AfriendremindedmethatwithmymoveInowneededtofindachurchhomewheremysoulcouldbenurturedandwhereIhadopportunitytobeinvolvedinservice.Hewasrightontarget.OnourfirstSundayinAndersonwechosetoattendNorthAndersonChurchofGod(MadisonPark)andhavemadethisfellowshipourchurchhome.Ihavefoundthiscongregationtobeaplacewhereapersoncangrowspirituallyandservefaithfully.Theopportunitiesforspiritualgrowtharemanyandtheoccasionsforservicearenumerous.ForthepasteightyearsIhavebeenhonoredtoserveontheBoardofElders.Thesehavebeeneightyearsofamazingopportunity.Wehaverelocatedtoaplacethatoffersgreat

PalmSundayInallourlives,therehavebeenmomentsofmissedopportunityandmomentswhenopportunitywasseized.Truly,thetwothieveswhosharedGolgothawithJesusaretheepitomeofbothopportunityseizedandopportunitymissed.Threesimplewords,“Lord,rememberme”ledonemantoeternitywithChrist,whiletheothersufferedtheconsequencesofalifethatdeniedChrist.Intruth,thisisthedecisionthatfaceseveryhumanbeingwalkingonthefaceofthisearth.

Sometimesitishardtobelieveevenwhatyouhavejustseen.Thatwasthecaseforthosewhofoundtheemptytomb.Theywereconfusedandbewilderedastheytriedtosortthroughwhathadjusttakenplace.Justwhentheythoughtthingscouldnotgetmorecomplicated,anangelspeakstothemdeclaring,“Hehasrisen!”ItisthedeclarationofEasteranditisourdeclarationasbelievers!
